One of a series of six plates with "Lustjagden", hunting parties organised at the Prater in Vienna/Wien on the occasion of Leopold I's marriage to Margarita Teresa of Spain, 5 december 1666. Melchior Küsel/Küsell, engraver and publisher, flourished in Augsburg, Wien and München; he married Maria Sibylla Merian. - Trimmed within plate-mark and mounted of old. Light waterstains, brown spots. |
