Abraham de Bruyn, engraver and publisher, born in Antwerp, where he was active from 1565, but often moved. 1570 in Breda, c. 1576-1578 in Cologne, 1580 in Antwerp and again after 1585 in Cologne where he died. He did much work for Plantin. - Trimmed to border line, a few very tiny damages. Good impression of this beautiful and rare engraving; under glass in mahogany frame. |
